Maybe I Can Do This
If you hop on over to my GOALS page you will see that I pretty much bombed last week. But then if you click over to my WEIGHT LOSS page you will find that I lost an entire pound last week. And that lost pound made it the third week in a row I’ve posted a loss.
My not-so-long term goal right now is to lose 10 pounds by November 14th. I made that goal back on September 14th thinking I’d be able to knock those pounds right out. Well, that didn’t happen. I have 12 days until that deadline and I’ve lost only 3 pounds.
But I am DAMN proud of those 3 pounds. I have made major strides in my relationship with food the past two weeks or so. As a result, I’m losing. Not a lot. Not very fast. But I haven’t gained in over three weeks. Awesome.
As Rhino would say, “That’s BE-AWESOME!”
I also have borrowed a copy of Turbo Jam from Amy. She’s been harassing me to try it and after hearing from a man who bought my Wii Fit that his wife lost 160 pounds using Turbo Jam, I called Amy right up. I tried it out today for the first time.
After I laughed at my inability to keep rhythm, I then hyperventilated (which by the way, is not a word apparently) my way through about 20 minutes of it before turning it off. It was either that or Tango would be dialing 911 with his big nose. I am feeling the burn.
Maybe I’ll hit my November 14th goal and maybe I won’t. All I know is that for the last three weeks, I’ve been doing good. And I intend to keep that up!

Man, I need to get on that too. You are definitely inspiring me to get going. Great job on three weeks of loosing weight!
Of course you can do it! YOU ROCK didnt you know that?? Keep on keeping on! Its a marathon not a sprint! YOU CAN DO IT!!

I love Turbo Jam! It’s so fun! I am totally uncoordinated doing it. Just glad no one watches me!
